About 1 month before Brina and Josh’s wedding, Colton and I had a facetime call with them to nail down all the details of their big day. After going through the timeline I felt inspired to express to how important it was to us that they just enjoy their day. We told them that this day wasn’t about photos, rather it was about the two of them coming together. We promised we’d capture every moment and they loved hearing that. We definitely took a more documentary approach to this wedding and I am so grateful that we did. It was better than I could’ve ever imagined. Keep reading to learn more about their day!

September 2nd, 2023

Brina + Josh had the most amazing, God-centered wedding on September 2nd in Cheyenne and Carpenter Wyoming. Their day started with them getting ready, the girls in the barn and the guys in the main house, both surrounded by loved ones and family. They shared tender private vows as they held each others hands during their first touch, during which both shed tears of joy, nervousness, excitement, and love. It almost made me tear up seeing these two and the love they have for each other. They headed to Cheyenne, where they were joined in marriage at the Cathedral of St Mary. Man, I’ve shot catholic weddings before but this cathedral blew me away. And Brina and Josh too of course. The rest of the day was spent celebrating with their closest family and friends, laughing and crying all together. Before leaving, we went to congratulate them and I still remember the warm hugs they gave us. They were so grateful we were there and told us we’d be lifelong friends, we couldn’t agree more. Their siblings planned a sparkler send-off but they wanted to surprise Brina and Josh with an even bigger goodbye, fireworks! It was so epic.
